A judge who would move against any of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights moves against all of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights.

The Constitution, as amended, must be respected as a whole.

He is not moving against it. He is interpreting it in light of modern society.

The arms mentioned in the constitution were muzzle-loading muskets.
