No, he’s not. John Galt, at least as written by Ayn Rand, had a good idea of what he wanted to build after bringing down the ‘Looters’. Edward Snowden, by contrast, just has a bunch of complaints he ‘wants addressed’ and has no real idea of who things are to function after that is done.

The preceding should not be read as a defense of Objectivism. Ayn Rand’s ideas were very wrong, but unlike Snowden she did take the time and trouble to flesh them out.
