Do people really expect a Louisiana Democrat to be exactly like say a New York or California Democrat?

I’m not defending his stance on work requirements for Medicaid, etc., just the fact that if he acted like everyone wants him too, you’d have a Republican Governor. And this occurs more so now with Trump and Republican dominance.

Do we forget the Republican noise machine so easily?

It is Louisiana. Just like Jones in South Carolina.

People have to learn politics. It is never ideal. You never get all you want.

We are going to muck this year up with this thinking.

The portion of Medicaid recipients that could even be considered for employment is vanishingly small. Most are very young, very old, or seriously disabled. The ‘workaid’ solution is kabuki, and will produce little real-world use or harm.
