I remember 2012…some of the wackos the R’s put up for the Senate that year, Akin, some crazy dude in Indiana, crazy lady not a witch in Delaware (not sure if that was 2012 or another year). They could have had larger majorities sooner. So we’ve been fortunate in a way.

Christine the non witch was 2010. That one they fucked because they could have nominated Mike Castle, a reasonable moderate Republican and longtime Delaware mainstay. But yeah 2012 had all the stupid crap by candidates like Akin, Mourdock(whom you’re thinking of Indiana who called a pregnancy via rape a blessing), and the guy that Heitcamp beat in ND said some pretty stupid shit too that helped her.
