He’s getting off easy. It will be tough for this asshole to endure the time, but when you consider what he did and what happens to ordinary folks in America it is not really fair to the people of this country.

I guess everyone needs to slick up in a nice suit and tie before you rob a bank, sell drugs, or cheat on your own taxes. And make sure you have some good power connections.

Since a significant chunk of Manafort’s crimes are financial in nature, how hard can he be hit on the forfeiture front? If he gets tens of millions of dollars seized, that’s gotta hurt as much, if not more than the prison sentence.
