In Maryland, House Passes Bill to Let Gays Wed

Great news, since MD state Senate is expected to pass it as well, and Gov will sign for sure. At that point almost 50 million Americans will live in states with SSM. And another 80 million approximately live in states with civil unions. That’s nearly half the US population living in states that recognize same sex relationships. Ten years ago there was none of this; now it’s nearly half the country. The right has already lost this battle, they just don’t want to accept the inexorable movement of history.
