I’m no expert political strategist, but it’s so painfully obvious why the GOP is imploding and yet people who make way, way more money than I do seem to be completely oblivious to reality.

I’m not a political strategist either, but it is glaringly obvious that the further the GOP tacks to the right, the more they lose. Combine that with the Tea Partiers fanatical obsession with ideological purity, and the dismal future of the GOP looks pretty clear.
