The excuses so far:

1. He isn’t white/he’s Muslim (before better photos emerged).
2. He’s a druggie.
3. He targeted Christians, not blacks.

I’m also seeing the ZOMG MENTAL ILLNESS line being trotted out by the RWNJs.

“No sane person does this!” And yet, he was sane. Dude had enough sanity to stitch apartheid-era flags onto his jacket and get a CSA plate. He was known in high school for “expressing strong Southern pride” and for making racist jokes which apparently no one around him took seriously.

I bet they’re not laughing now.
