Meanwhile, in the UK, the House of Lords gets impatient with the government and tells Theresa May that preserving the residency and citizenship rights of EU nationals now might just be a very good idea, rather than waiting until after Brexit to fix things.
Former PM John Major also gave a speech portending the sky would fall in once Brexit goes into effect, but Foreign Secretary (and twit) Boris Johnson says that’s all pish-posh.
Oh, and it seems there’s no trade agreement yet between the EU and the UK, so Brexit would also disrupt trade between the UK and its largest trading partner.
