FLG is still banned in China. Their websites are blocked, and anyone remotely connected to it — like Canada’s Anastasia Lin, former Miss World-Canada — are persona non grata. The Party considers it a cult.

What is it about FLG that the Party has trouble with? I have read that Russia is cracking down on Jehovah’s Witnesses. (They are not banned in Germany, but are denied the status as a religious organization).
