I-25 in Colorado and Wyoming was a joke from 2 a.m. Monday onward. wheat-dogg couldn’t even get to his stated destination, had to settle for a spot just right inside the totality boundary.

I heard that a half hour after totality, it took almost six hours to drive from Douglas, WY to Ft. Collins, CO which is normally a two and a half hour drive.

wheat-dogg, how was the drive?

Well, from Wheatland, it was not too bad. I reckon there were tons more folks further north (Douglas, Guernsey and Casper) glomming up the highway. It took us about 4 hours to reach Denver International to return the rental car.
