I don’t predict things anymore but that said I think Murkowski ends up being the only GOP no vote, and only out of pure electoral expedience given her reliance on Alaskan native votes. I think Senate Republicans are far more horrified by what happens if Trump’s base perceives them as having caved.

What about those leaving i.e. Flake? But unfortunately, I think you’re right ultimately. The country is against Kavanaugh but the GOP base firmly with him and that’s our paradox and why we haven’t been able to get real progress and why Mitch is the shitbird he is. The fucking Republican base. Not that I’m excusing the Republican leadership at all in making them the way they are. They own this by not being honest about them that Barack Obama wasn’t a threat to them. They instead played that shit for all it’s worth and it’s why we have a lot of the misfit toys we do in Congress.
