I suspect there will be lawsuits flying from civil libertarian groups, based on precedent, the XIV Amendment (especially concerning women stationed overseas), &c.

One last time, they only made a change to INA 320. They didn’t alter any other aspect of immigration law, or attempt to subvert the 14th Amendment (yet.)
