Trump is directing DHS to spend resources to protect statues, all while ignoring people dying of covid19 due to uncontrolled spread. Some of that is cases due to people flying around the nation without masks, crossing interstate lines, and Trump doesn’t care about any of that.

DHS and TSA should have had strict masking and social distancing rules in effect, but Trump never focused on policies or the particulars that might make us safer.

If Trump had a real VP, such as his preferred choice Chris Christie, everything might be running smoothly because Christie would have persuaded Trump that all Donald had to do is make speeches and golf, while Christie would be managing everything. Of course, Trump would probably never have gotten elected because he never would have acquired the enthusiasm of the evangelicals.
