You misunderstand Goebbels then. Nazi propaganda was populist in nature. It was aimed at the angry and uneducated. Beck’s tone is right on the mark.

Just so. Much of what Goebbels said was utterly outlandish and over-the-top, but plausibility was not something he was trying to achieve. Goebbels was trying to drive his audience into a frenzy, so they could be used to intimidate or destroy all those identified as “enemies of the New Order”. Glenn Beck is doing that same thing.
