I think this might be a bigger factor than the current housing slump, to be honest. People are getting hit hard by basic cost-of-living costs and businesses aren’t able to pay enough to increase discretionary spending. There’s got to be some money injected into that cycle somewhere.

well, when the GOP’s presidential chances depend on them sabotaging the economy further, good luck with that :-)

Housing market will not recover. Not in any way we’ll recognize. We got played by wall street, it’s damaged for a decade at least.
