For those of you unfamiliar with Hagee’s Cornerstone Church, it’s in a very wealthy area on the outskirts (farthest northern reaches) of San Antonio. It’s practically within spitting distance of the local country club (about 1/3 of a mile away, as the crow flies). Here’s a video advertising the latter—at about 21 seconds you’ll see an aerial view of the area that’ll give you a good idea of the type of neighborhood I’m talking about:

The Club At Sonterra

Oh, and just across the parkway from the country club is Ronald Regan High School (the middle school is named Barbara Bush). I kid you not. I’m pretty sure it’s been a VERY long time since Hagee has been anywhere near a poor person.

Here is the church on Google Maps. The Club at Sonterra is just north of it at the tip of E. Sonterra Blvd. That’s Hagee’s “base”.
