I dunno how many of y’all are Nick Kroll fans but Nick called the whole “wokeness ruined comedy” bit that Todd Phillips whined about a bunch of nonsense and he’s right. Comedy is still alive and well.

The entertainment is a fickle mistress that lives on the mood of the times and how the public, the media and the pundits react to events and developments.

I was a big fan of Woody Allen, Louis CK and Keven Stacey, but they managed to overstep. I might still watch and some of their older work but nothing else they come out with

I was also a big fan of Dixie Chicks, but they bit the hand that fed them by offending the sensibilities of Middle America. Although I do not condone the death threats they received, their fall from grace was a matter of them not recognizing what makes a certain market (in this case Top 40 Country) such a powerful thing.
