Given the fact that neither the SARS nor the MERS pandemics ever produced a vaccine, and given what we know about the current virus’s behaviour, I have a low confidence level that a vaccine for SARS-CoV2 will be produced, with one of the main reasons being that China refuses to release the information on Patient Zero.

The main reason that there is no vaccine is that SARS petered out, and MERS only flares up rarely.
