Simple argument here folks. Take the money from the Arab regimes and you clip their wings.

Reducing the consumption of oil most certainly damages the ability of the Arab and Iranian regimes to prepare for war with Israel and sponsor terrorism.

If the US substantially reduced their use of imported oil, the Arabs and Iranians would be hard pressed to sell their oil above a rate that just allows them to feed their people. With high oil consumption, they can afford vast quantities of weapons and have money to arm and sponsor their terrorist armies. This without even referencing the massive transfer of wealth going to these vile nations which further damages the US and Israel.

I’m with Ludwig on this one. Americans could do this right away if they had the will.
