Well, it was a list of alleged Jews, since somehow their investigation was just to find people with “Jewish-sounding” names.

Yeah, I just checked his Wiki page, I’d never heard of him before. He compiled the list of Jewish sounding names, he didn’t have access to religious information. He since acknowledge the mistake and apologized.
