Oh please. You aren’t any more pro-gun than you are pro-‘traditional marriage’.

You don’t own guns. You aren’t a longtime shooter, hunter, or ex-military. You don’t have any sort of concealed carry status. You don’t have any reason to be ‘pro-gun’ except that you think it’s something you should be because your ‘team’ is.

You are, like most Americans, wilfully underinformed about the real-life effects of civilian firearm ownership. The negative statistics undermining guns for self-defence are sobering and undeniable, much like the facts underpinning climate change. They are not matters of opinion. Insisting otherwise is like denying climate change or being a creationist. Yet you hope to stay as ignorant as possible so you can continue to support your ‘team’ line, despite their woeful track record of ignoring facts, and despite the fact that even you can’t support it on other factual issues such as climate change and evolution.
