One has to decide whether he’s a pragmatic or an idealist. There’s the old idealist in me who loves alot of Bernie’s ideas and the pragmatist in me who sees how Obama who is much more centrist and I think a better executive than Sanders struggle implementing much of his agenda. It’s not so much to be the most progressive guy or gal in the room, it’s so much more than that especially nowadays when you have people like Ted Cruz and the Freedumb Caucus.

I think Bernie, at the end of the day, knows there has to be compromise. That doesn’t stop him from pushing hard to the left though because if you start in the center, compromise will be somewhere on the right.
