What he’s saying is the new Christianity doesn’t believe anything Jesus said. The old, vengeful God is much more to their liking.

Imma thinking some of these megachurches are not teaching classic Christianity.

Seems to be more a form of “get your own greed, as I got my own with God’s help.”
