re: #339 Obdicut

I think that you’re accusing people here of the sins of others. Which is rather uncool.

I don’t know what you said. It seems to relate to destroying Muslim holy sites and killing those that riot afterwards. That’s pretty obscene. But I don’t really know.

I do know that you’re treating others as though they’re saying that the murder of Jews is less than the murder of Christians and Muslims. And I haven’t seen a damn thing that at all approaches that.

We can talk about what I said and why off of here.

But for the record - and this really is the point- I am tired of double standars where Jews always have to take second or third place in their own land. This is why that Jew was murdered. As another example, those two mosques on the Temple Mount squat on someone else’s holy site. They do not belong to the Muslims and they should not. Every other mosque is protected as much as any other holy site. But the Temple or Joseph’s tomb or Hebron, get second class status, because who cares about what Jews think. Even many Jews don’t care.

And that is a crying shame. We give up our national heritage because we are uncomfortable with being Jews too openly.

The Temple is ours. No one else’s. We do not have to share. We should not have to share. We are not beggars in our own nation. The justification for our being in our own land is historic. It is cultural. It is the simple fact that it really is our homeland and everyone knows this.

But the real reason - is that G-d gave us that land. And Christians and Muslims know that too. They just like to forget sometimes.

There is really no point in arguing this further. Both sides know full well where they stand. And while it is possible to be civil on other subjects, there will not be a kissy face “we all dig each other now” moment on this one.
