I live about five minutes from eh-LEER’-ee-uh, and yes, it truly is backward hick country (and that’s before you go into the actual countryside).

Since you are an Ohioan…are you familiar with a little town by the name of Shelby?

I had relatives from there. My one uncle was Archie Bunker before there was an Archie Bunker. I still do not know if there any African American in that little berg. Let’s just say they made it hard for AA people to reside there. I do not go back there…at all. And it is north of Columbus…’bout halfway.
