Personally, I’m a big fan of the 1961-1963 Imperials, with the headlights on stalks. Wildly overdone!

OK, here’s a question I’ve always had.

Why on these old cars does the tail light section split & separate from the tail end.

You know what I mean? I can’t find a pix.
