Messianic Judaism is a religious view of certain Jews who claim Jesus as the Messiah. (Which kind of makes them no longer Jewish but Christians following Jewish laws.)

I wonder what the current count is of ‘religions’ is in the world right now?

As a Catholic schooled person, we were of course always taught it was the one true religion built upon St. Peter as a direct linage to Jesus Christ. Sounded good. They had plenty of books to back that up.

First grade in Catholic school and I was already confused by that teaching because all my neighborhood friends were of other religions. They seemed fine to me.

There was only 11 more years of confusion to go. But it did teach me a lot about religions and man.
