I can’t make someone subscribe to The Economist or The Washington Post (which won’t deliver newspapers here anyway).

Of course you can’t (though someone could buy such a subscription for your library, no?)

Yet it remains, your neighbors who live off of dodgy information are doing so at their choice. If they really wanted to investigate something as far as the truth of a matter, they could research it.
