Everyone is focused on SCOTUS and impacts with Roe v Wade, which is very important. But the real lynch pin is any SCOTUS nominated by Trump will have to recuse any SCOTUS cases that may come from Mueller’s investigation.

Suddenly it’s a 7 seat SCOTUS. This is the last stop gap to our institutional powers.

To expect them to respect norms and recuse in the Trump era is expecting a lot.
