This Christian persecution complex that is running wild in conservative circles in the United States pisses me off. It reeks of self-importance and arrogance.

When I was at the Popefest last weekend we saw the speech he gave at Independence Hall on the Jumbotrons. I was pleased to see that quite a few people shook their heads when the idiot who introduced the Pope griped about the Church being “attacked” for being too conservative or too liberal. Criticism is not “attacking”.
