With respect to the union chief, it really didn’t help his case that he opened his big racist yap and said that the officers were “wrongfully terminated” and should be reinstated immediately. That immediately drew fire from literally everybody with a functioning brain who doesn’t want to see the union permanently busted.

Ya know, I’m generally in favor of unions, but it just seems like police union heads are the worst enemy that police could possibly have. They’re like the friend who, when you say you’ve had too much to drink and shouldn’t drive, tells you not to be such a pussy and hands you a 6-pack ‘For the road’.
