Right, that’s my point. I mean I understand why we had the provision in place but like the EC, I believe it outdated.

At the start of this I noted why it was originally implemented. I’m not sure whether the requirement to be natural-born is really necessary now myself.

On repealing it though, it won’t happen. Put it to the states, and as soon as the thirteenth says it won’t ratify the amendment it’s dead.
