re: #340 KGxvi

You know, after GW Bush, I figured we’d go a few decades before we tried electing “a businessman” to the presidency, and maybe even longer for an MBA president. But not only did we elect another “businessman” (and I use that term very, very loosely) we also decided (apparently) to see what happens when we don’t elect a politician. Shocking, I know, but it turns out electing someone who does not understand how things like “the law” and “the government” and “politics” actually work ends up being a total disaster.

Businessmen get way too much credit. Maybe it’s because most of the businessmen that we elect or run are out of touch assholes who think our government is the same as their corporate fiefdoms.
