Hmm, let’s think about this. In an experiment, you take the number of observable things, call it The World of the experiment, and limit it drastically so that you can isolate causes. In the real world, the number of observable things is, well, the entire world. So even though people make observations in the hopelessly complex world at large, you’re still calling them schizophrenic if they think something you consider illogical. Add this to the ease with which you label people as “vile racists” or “complete idiots” or “the embodiment of evil”. In other words, drawing ridiculous conclusions. Very unscientific.
