Cleveland Police Union officials confirm to Fox 8 I-Team reporter Peggy Gallek that the shooting was officer-involved.

Union officials say that a call came in that a male had a gun. They say the officer acted responsibly and the boy had what appeared to be a gun.

The boy is reportedly in stable condition. The officer suffered a leg injury.
