In a way, I’m almost glad that hatred within religions blinds people to their common prejudices because of that. If the American Christian Right knew how much fanatical Muslims share their homophobia, sexism, and in some cases racism, they’d be in heaven.

Yeah. There really isn’t that much difference between the christian right and the muslim right (e.g. AlQ, Daesh, et al.).
