I was one of those seeing the Sex Pistols opening their tour in Homestead PA in December of 1977. I never saw such a bunch of punk fans until then. News trucks covered it (this was before CNN). The crowd went nuts when McLaren came out to introduce the band. You could smell the pot fumes. Fans slam danced in the aisles and spit at the band…
