The topic of this post is about the guy trying to run down protestors with his truck.

This comes from an angry person. And one who is not capable of resolving their anger by other means.

That is what happens to groups too. As you note, regardless of who won the 2000 election, the US was going to get revenge on the government that harboured AQ.

Inevitably we’ve learned that we’re not going to be able to remake Afghanistan into our image, that terrorism will continue regardless of how many hundreds of billions of dollars we spend on wars.

I’m not through all the comments…but yours is the second that mentioned Afghanistan…and not Iraq. Yet, more was made of Iraq by the Bushies than Afghanistan. It seemed that way to me at least.

Just an interesting observation. I wish we could all forget about Iraq.
