What if the “gun banners” were simply asking Starbucks politely to ask customers to leave their firearms in their cars, rather than staging a boycott? Would you have a problem with that?

Why Starbucks instead of say McDonalds or Pinkberry? This is the part I don’t quite get, why they’re being singled out. In most states that issue them a legal concealed carry permit is presumed valid in such a non-alcohol serving public establishments unless the owner puts up signage specifically barring all weapons from the premises. Most chains aren’t going to want to clutter up their storefronts with unnecessary signage, especially when the people supposedly carrying weapons are carrying them concealed and legally.
