It’s plausible that he’s right, that SCOTUS making same-sex marriage the law of the land will pretty much end the issue short of talk about an amendment that will never become a reality. But if Howie really believes that there won’t be those GOP candidates who spend time on the campaign trail vehemently pushing their opposition to such a situation, then he’s a fool.
