Well, I made my kitty happy by singing Sarah McLachlan’s “In the Arms of an Angel” to her. She really likes it when I sing. She purrs, rubs my legs, puts her front paws on my thighs and asks for pets. I may not be a great singer, but my kitty loves it.

Out our way, Otis gets a little trembley when I carry him to the tub for a bath, but as soon as I start singing to him his tail starts wagging. I don’t sing a real song, though. I just improvise nonsense about how Otis is getting a bath, etc. He’s a good dog.
