Does “our history” simply mean a person identifies with all that happened that caused the south to rebel against the north was good, just and needed and is still needed today, and it matters not where you are from if you think that way?

That is why you see the stars ‘n’ bars so many places that are nowhere near the south. It is the identity that is important, not anything to do with history as such as the continued history of white racism.

My problem is they have no concept of why that flag is seen as hateful. None at all. And don’t get me started how they’re the first people to call others unpatriotic too. There’s definitely some privilege in thinking the CSA flag is acceptable.
