My guess would be if there was an alien race somewhere that managed to overcome the vast distances between stars to come here, it would be for conquest, not to spread rainbows and unicorns. That could be just my human perspective though.

Yep, pretty much. They’re semi-apocalyptic in their beliefs as well, and definitely big on conspiracy theories. ETA: They’re probably the biggest local promulgators of the chemtrails conspiracy theory.
