Replacing a sitting president inevitably damages the democratic process. Replacing him with theocratic Pence could be a longer-term nightmare.
And then we’re still left with the process and the electorate that made Trump possible.
Your democratic process is damaged at birth (the so-called “electoral college”, which is not at all democratic).
At this point I don’t think Pence will be more nightmarish than Trump, and if he will be, well, guys, it’s whom you elected. At least the rest of the world might suffer less. Self-interest speaking here.
