I am being a optimistic naif here but perhaps DF will be shaken by the today’s events and start reconsidering his views. Sometimes people do change for the better — not often but there were occasions when he did seem thoughtful.

DF was too honest for a Republican. IMO he will eventually have to completely get rid of his honesty or cease being a Republican because Republicans value lies above all else.
