How many Republicans fighting against raising the minimum wage would agree with Martin Luther King Jr. that all labor has dignity?

I remember even agreeing with Ronald Reagan’s adage that “The best social program you can offer someone is a job.”

Except that he had David Stockman cut job training programs.

Except that he cut school and higher education funding.

Except that he supported and promoted a system that treats labor (and not just wages, but also worker health and safety) as expenses to me minimalized to improve profitability.
