LOL - I’m so oblivious. The title of the article is “Captain Underpants and the Illusion of Security,” so that would be a yes.

My friend works at a hospital and I went to see him a few months back. The security guard stopped me and said I had to sign in. I asked him if he needed to see my I.D. and he said no. So, I could have signed in as Slappy McDuck and it would not have mattered.

I felt compelled to ask the guy what this accomplished. How would this stop me from blowing up the hospital or attacking someone? If I blew up the hospital, would it help the cops to know that they should be looking for Slappy McDuck? I didn’t ask, of course, because it would probably just get me in trouble and interfere with me seeing my friend.

Illusion of security is right.
