One last rant: The Food Network is just stupid, when it’s not being evil.

I suppose there are some foodies here who will object to my categorizing a popular media outlet dedicated to food as being “stupid”, but after viewing their recent series “Fat Chef” that’s the best word I can come up with to describe that network.

Weight problems many of us have or had have. We all know that there are many issues that inter-relate when it comes to health. But to have a show that spouts the usual mindless trainer-spiel is pretty, well, mindless. It’s an incredibly misleading show, such as stating daily calorie consumption levels to four significant digits (e.g. “7233 calories per day”) - a level of accuracy impossible with their techniques.
