This is why I taste bile any time I hear a “moderate” Republican tell us that he’s against abortions but will make “exceptions,” because it’s always bullshit. They’ll offer “exceptions,” but then make it impossible to actually utilize them by making doctors so scared shitless of falling afoul of the law that they won’t perform abortions.

And women will literally die because of this.
